Hello, my name is Richard Lück. I'm a freelance Illustrator and Designer from Nuremberg, Germany. I'm focusing on fantasy and landscape illustration as well as concept art and visualization for film. I am a big fan of stories and love to visualize alien and fantastic places.
I completed my B. A. in Design at the University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm in Germany, where I studied Illustration, Film & Animation and Language in Media and Design.
I gained experience in concept art and 3D visualization in my study projects as well as in an internship at the German film production company Caligari, where I worked in the pre-production department of the animated children’s TV series “Coconut, the little dragon".
I like to work digitally, but I also value the assets of traditional techniques such as watercolours, coloured pencils or drawing with ink.

Hallo, mein Name ist Richard Lück. Ich bin freiberuflicher Illustrator und Designer aus Nürnberg. Meine Schwerpunkte liegen auf Fantasy- und Landschaftsillustrationen sowie Concept Design und Visualisierungen für Filme. Ich mag Geschichten und liebe es, fantastische Orte und Kreaturen zu visualisieren.
Meinen B. A. in Design habe ich an der TH Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm abgeschlossen und dort Illustration, Film & Animation und Verbale Kommunikation studiert.
Erfahrungen in Concept Art und 3D-Visualisierung habe ich neben Studienprojekten aus einem Praktikum bei der Filmproduktionsfirma Caligari, wo ich bei der animierten Kinderserie "Der kleine Drache Kokosnuss" in der Pre-Production mitgewirkt habe.
Ich arbeite gerne digital, weiß aber auch die Vorzüge klassischer Techniken wie Aquarell, Buntstift oder Tusche zu schätzen.
